The Challenge
Travelers with layovers often waste hours at airports with no idea what's available around their gate. Flight information is scattered across different apps, and there's no way to connect with other travelers or discover nearby services.

The Solution
We built Layovr — a platform that combines real-time flight tracking with location-based airport services and a gate community feature. Travelers can look up flights, discover nearby offers, and connect with other passengers in their gate area.
Technical Approach
Next.js frontend with Supabase for user data and real-time features. AviationStack API provides live flight data. Location-based services use geofencing to show relevant gate-area offerings. The community feature uses Supabase Realtime for instant messaging.
